December Missions Report 2008

Dear PASTORS, Church Families & Friends ,

" Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people." Luke 2:10

Greetings once again in the name of our Great Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We rejoice in the opportunity to write to you at this glorious Holiday season. How wonderful it is to know that the Christ-child was not only born, but also lived, died, was resurrected from the grave, and is now sitting on the right hand of the throne of God in Heaven. We find in Luke 2:10 the words of the angel, “Fear not: for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people.” To all people - what a concept! This was not only speaking of Filipinos and English-speaking Americans, but also of Cambodians-speaking Khmers and Tribal language and of every other race and cultural group known to mankind.

December has been a very busy month for many churches here in this country especially here in Ratanakiri. Last December 28, we had our Thanksgiving and at the same time our Family Day in our mission-church. We had a great attendance of 139 people. We had also 9 first time visitors that Sunday morning. The mission-church was full packed of young people, adults and children and also foreign missionaries in this province We had a great time of singing, special numbers and most of all the preaching of God’s Word. It was really a blessing for us to have in our mission-church, my fellow missionary, Bro. Lomer Hope Dela Cruz and his family as our guest speaker. He gave an inspiring and challenging message about “Choices in Life” from the book of Deuteronomy 30:15-20. The message was very timely both to all our members and to our visitors before year 2008 ends. Praise God for 7 hands that raised for salvation and 2 for baptism. To God Be The Glory!

After our successful service, we let the people go out from the auditorium for games, fellowship and lunch. There are games for young people and children. While they were enjoying themselves on games, our adults and some of our young people were the ones who prepares our lunch. After the fellowship, most of the children picked up some plastics and garbages while the young people washed all the dishes before they went back home. It’s an encouraging and blessing for me and my wife to have members and regular attendees who are so faithful and helpful in both areas of our ministry.

Brethren, we are so really encouraged by your faithfulness to the ministry here in Ratanakiri. Without you we could not see the results that God is producing here in this strategic province.

Thank you once again for being co-laborers with us here in Ratanakiri. We could not be here without churches like you partnering with us to reach the Khmers and the Minorities with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

HAPPY HOLIDAY and HAVE A BLESSED and FRUITFUL NEW YEAR!!

Your Servants for Him,
KIT & JANETH
