May - June Missions Report 2009

Dear PASTORS and Co-Laborers,

Our Greetings to you from Ratanakiri are with thankful hearts because God has blessed us in so many ways!

Thank you so much for taking time to read this letter. We trust you are doing fine in spite of the difficult economic times many of you are going through. We thank you for your faithfulness in giving to missions especially here in this part of Ratanakiri during these hard times. We are doing well and God has been blessing our ministries in wonderful ways. Our hearts are especially thankful for our Precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who came to earth to provide salvation for all who will trust Him and repent. The price has been paid in full for all men and all they have to do is admit their sin and ask forgiveness. We are so blessed for those visitors who raised their hands for salvation during the missions-anniversary.

PRE-ANNIVERSARY - DENTAL MISSION
We thank and praise the Lord for my sister-in-law, a dentist, Dr. Irene Quintos to come over not only to see the work and ministry but to be a blessing to our own people. Its really a great blessing to see the happy and scared faces while they have their teeth cleaned and tooth extraction because of some cavities. There were at least 44 were treated; young people, adults, and even children that day. We had a wonderful day and time of fellowship with the members and their loved ones while waiting for their turn to be treated. So, God willing, we will do this dental mission every year and maybe medical mission in the future as our pre-anniversary service to all our members and also to our own community. Because of what we did and showed to the people here in Pom Thmey, many came during the anniversary Sunday. And most of them are faithfully attending our Sunday service. My sister-in-law was so blessed and encouraged with what the Lord is doing in the lives of our people and even in the lives of the people in this far place of Cambodia.

ANNIVERSARY SUNDAY
Words cannot express the joy and success of our recent 2nd Missions anniversary last May 31, 2008. The theme of this year's anniversary is "Ye are the Light and Salt of this Earth". Praise God for the great attendance compared last year with a total of 149 people came that special day. Our children in our English ministry and our young people gave an encouraging and inspiring special numbers which the people enjoyed so much. Our guest speaker is Bro. James Dale Crowley (JD), serving as a missionary and a Bible translator here in Ratanakiri for 18 fruitful years. He pastored a church in Hawaii for 12 years where most of his members are Filipinos. He was able to challenged and encouraged everyone most especially Christians and members of Bethany Baptist Mission to let their light shine thru their loved ones, friends and even in their own community for them to reach out these people for the Lord Jesus Christ. After the preaching, your missionary gave an invitation and many of our members responded by giving their own lives to let God use them to reach their loved ones thru their testimony. Also, 10 of our visitors raised their hands for salvation. Looking forward for another great and exciting year in the work and ministry here in Ratanakiri. To God Be The Glory!!

The Psalmist wrote: "offer thanksgiving unto the Lord". Brethren, we thank God for your faithful support. The years have rolled by and month after month you have been right there with us. You have sent special offerings when needed and the latter part of every year, many of you sent us birthday, anniversary and Christmas cards. We are thankful and we are debtors to you all and we plan to serve the Lord with you in this missionary endeavor ...

Sincerely in His service,
JAMANDRON'S, KIT & JANETH
