Dear PASTORS and Praying Friends,
Though we see the enemy's fingerprints all around us, we are blessed and encouraged knowing God's people are praying. Thank you. "...and golden bowls of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, 'You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation...Worthy is the Lamb, Who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!'" Revelation 5:8b,9,12
YOUTH CAMP
We want you to know how much we really appreciate your prayers and support for this year’s camp. This camp has been a real blessing and encouragement to our eighteen members who attended the camp at Rawlings. God faithfully supplied the needs of our campers at the right time. Praise the Lord! Most of them were so excited and overwhelmed because it’s their first time to visit Phnom Penh and to attend this wonderful camp. You can see the joy and happiness on their faces especially meeting new friends in other churches and to fellowship with them. They were so blessed and challenged with the different messages and testimonies that they had heard for three days. They even told me that the theme of this year’s camp; “Have I Done My Best For The Lord” was an inspiring and encouraging theme for our members to give their very best and even continue giving their best service for the Master and respective ministry in our mission-church. During the invitation, four of our young men and ladies, three boys and an old lady came forward to publicly show that they will continue to be faithful and give their best service to Our Master. On the second night of the camp, the members gave a special number, “Tis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus” which the campers were so blessed with the sweet song that they’ve sang and very timely to the theme of the camp. Also, the Lord was really gracious and well favored to our church by blessing us that we really didn’t expect that we will going to receive these awards during the camp. At the last day of the camp, we were caught surprised but very happy that our church won the; Most Disciplined and Organized Group, Most Tidy Group and 3rd Overall Winner among the churches that participated the camp. It’s really a blessing for our church and we give the Honor and Glory to our Great and Awesome God!! One of the missionary wives told us that our church deserved those awards because of their attentiveness and good behavior during and after the services. Brethren, even though that they’re from the mountains, we always taught them and remind them to show your good testimony wherever you are. And it’s really a joy and a blessing for me and my wife that the things that they had learned thru us for two years came out during the camp. To God Be The Glory… For those who prayed and helped us financially to make this camp possible and for our members to attend this memorable camp.
