3rd Quarter Missions Report 2012

Dear PASTORS and Praying Friends,

“Greetings to you in the Blessed Name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ”.

I trust this letter finds you doing well, and rejoicing in the goodness of Our Lord upon you and the brethren in your church. We pray and trust that your ministry is steadfastly growing and maturing for the honor and glory of our great God and Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

There are not words to tell you how much we are enjoying every opportunity in sharing the Gospel and serving God here in Rattanakiri.  Last August, Janeth and I together with three of our young people attended the 1st ASEAN Youth Camp held in Siem Reap thru the invitation of our fellow missionary Joel Madlangawa. The theme of that camp is “To Be Like Jesus” from Philippians 2. The theme was very timely and encouraging both for the adults and young people alike that we need to be like the Lord Jesus Christ. And we need to shine our light and a salt in this dark and violent world. We praise the Lord for the great impact and positive outcome in the lives of our young people. Many young men and women and even adults came forward to commit and surrender their lives in following our Savior rather than the world. There were more than 120 campers (Khmers, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Tribal young man and even from Singapore) attended and they held it in one of the finest hotels in the province. The two speakers are Pastors’ Scotty Rayburn from Mississippi and Jacob Bogard from Louisiana. It was truly a great blessing to attend this wonderful and blessed camp this year.

We had a great month at Bethany Baptist Church-Mission in September as well. We would like to thank and praise the Lord for a single young lady who came and saw the work and our ministries here in Rattanakiri. Her name is Estefanie Paje, a registered nurse and a member of Ocean View Baptist Church in San Diego, California.  Also, we just had our first English camp last September 12-13 in our church. We catered 29 young people and 21 children for two days. Estefanie taught the young people while Janeth taught our children. They had a great time of learning the creation and the fall of man on the 1st day and on the 2nd day, they learned the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. They also did some crafts, activities and games. And the church served lunch for two days and my mother in law was the one who cook for these young ones and adults as well. After the success of our English camp, some of the young people start attending the church and two of them came to know Christ as their Lord and Savior. Also, Estefanie continues to teach basic English to our young people and members in the church. We praise the Lord for her kind heart, ministry and availability to come over to be a blessing to us and to the ministry here.

Thank you for your faithful support and prayers for us. We love you all and pray that you will continue to seek the Lord, because as you do, He will bless you abundantly as He has promised.

Because of Him,
JAMANDRONS, KIT and JANETH
