4th Quarter Missions Report 2012

Dear PASTORS and Praying Friends,

“Greetings to you in the Blessed Name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ”.

I know we've shared many needs in this letter  and even in our previous letters - it can be overwhelming sometimes! But, as you see, the need to share the Gospel is so great here in Rattanakiri. We know and believe that God can meet these needs and do more than that. We really do serve an awesome God. Thank you for your faithfulness in praying and giving, sending emails and cards - it's really a great encouragement to both of us.

October marked our 8th year in Cambodia and our 5th year here in Rattanakiri. But our God has been faithfully working in and through us all these years. We journeyed here this long and we can look back and say, without God we can do nothing and that He was with us, and never left us nor forsook us. We are constantly reminded too, that without your prayers, encouragement and support being here wouldn’t have been possible. All for the glory of God, we thank you all and thank Him for His goodness and His faithfulness. Through His sovereign grace, we’ve seen, witnessed, and experienced trials and victories. Experiencing God’s faithfulness through His word was what kept us going all these years until now. Yes, through His Spirit, He enables, empowers and strengthens us to do His will, even His permissive will to go through trials and tribulations. It is humbling specially to experience some trying times, but over the course of time the result in the end is that God’s name was still glorified in our lives most especially in our ministries.

What a busy schedules but blessed time the last couple of months had been! God has just been continuously pouring out His blessings upon us, and we are so grateful. Last October, our beloved Pastor Nable together with two of our supporting pastors and a brother from the Philippines came to visit us and the work that God entrusted to us. I met and picked them up from another province (Stung Treng) which is about 115 kilometers away from Rattanakiri and went to one of our outreaches in Kon Moum and then we proceed to Rattanakiri. We had a special service which our Pastor preached from our theme “Redeeming the Time”. It was a blessed and wonderful time of feasting God’s Word and great fellowship with our special visitors. They stayed overnight and the next day I accompanied them to the new border in central Vietnam going to Saigon.

Last November had been a month of spiritual growth for most members and believers in our church. God continuous to increase our attendance with so many adults came with their children from far villages. Some of our adults (men) use their God given abilities to do carpentry inside and outside of our church. And most of our young men and women surrendered their lives to teach in our Sunday school. Many of them were students before in the Sunday school of my wife Janeth but right now their grown-ups and ready to teach other children. Every Saturday, they meet and talk together and prepare things with Janeth on what to do for Sunday. As their Pastor, it’s such a blessing in my part to see these young people grew up in the church faithfully and right now, they’re the ones teaching the new breed of children in our Sunday school. What an investment for God’s glory! Also, three weeks ago, four newly believers signified to be baptized. One of them is a Lao man, married and worked before with UNTAC during the 80’s and could speak five different languages mostly tribal languages. I baptized them in one of the lakes in this place. Praise the Lord for more souls added unto His church!

Again, we appreciate your support thru your prayers and finances. All that is accomplished is fruit unto your account. God bless you all.

Together in the Harvest,
JAMANDRONS, KIT and JANETH
