Dear PASTORS and Co-Mission Partners,
“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2
A BLESSED AND FRUITFUL HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL…
Our mission and ministry as your missionaries are to see people in Ratanakiri trust Christ as their personal Savior. Through the efforts of Bethany Baptist Mission and our present ministries, we strive to lead people that we come in contact with into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to be used of God to help strengthen their walk with the Lord. We desire to train them in the facets of the ministry so they can also be used of God to do the work of the ministry. Even with so many countless opportunities and possibilities that this life has to offer; there is no greater privilege than being a part of God's ministry. My wife and I are so thankful that God has put us in this kind of work and ministry. We count it an honor to serve Him.
FEEDING MINISTRY
On November of 2009, Bethany Baptist Mission started its first feeding program with 12-15 children mostly members of our mission work. You can see the joy on their faces while they received their food, milk or sometimes hot chocolate, vitamin C and multivitamins. God laid this burden to us to feed these children before they go to school. Because most of them go to school with an empty stomach and I saw one of our members almost collapsed because of severe headache. I asked her if she ate breakfast and she said no. And not only that, I was bit surprised when she told me that she goes to school with no food in her stomach. And we also noticed that most of our children attending our Sunday school and service are all malnourish. So, we prayed about it and God supplied the needs to start this feeding program. I really thank and praise the Lord for the effort of my wife Janeth to prepare and cook for these children every Thursday only. She cooked vegetables with chicken, beef or deer meat. And the children really appreciate the love and kindness of their Madam (Janeth) to them. It is really our desire to feed them from Monday to Friday as the Lord continues to provide the resources for these precious children. Before they receive their food, I always do devotion for them at 6:15 am. We pray, sing, read and study God’s Word together. Not only that they received nutritious and delicious food for their bodies but also spiritual food to start their day healthy and right with God. Glory To God!!
Friends and co-mission partners, we love and appreciate every one of you, and thank you for letting us be an extension of your great ministry. Our prayers and love are with you. May God Continue to Bless All Of You…
