Dear Pastors and
Greetings from your missionaries and the brethren of
I hope and pray that this letter finds you well, your family as well as your ministry. For the past weeks of May, my wife and I and even some of the members of our mission work had been very busy preparing the church for our 3rd mission-church anniversary. We would like to praise the Lord for His faithfulness for allowing your servants, your missionaries to keep on going and the work here to come this far. And God continuously blessing us both physically, spiritually and the ministry in this northeastern part of
Last May 30, Bethany Baptist Mission-Rattanakiri celebrated its 3rd mission-church anniversary. The theme for this year's anniversary is "We are Saved to Serve". We're so glad to have our Pastor from the
During the service, our children (some of them are members of the church) from our English ministry memorized verses related to our theme for this year in Khmer and English fluently before they sing their special numbers(Obedience and Take my Life and let it be). Even our young people and adults shared their Bible verses and render a special song entitled “A Servant’s Heart” both also in Khmer and English as well. Then, our beloved Pastor challenged and encouraged us especially the members from God’s Word. He encouraged each one of us that God did not saved us just to sit down or doing nothing but God saved us to serve our Almighty God. During the invitation, two visitors came forward for salvation and they got saved that day, Praise the Lord!! Another visitor, the older brother of our interpreter , a military man and a businessman came forward for baptism and he was baptized that Sunday afternoon in one of the lakes in this place, the famous “Yak Loem Lake” which means; the Volcano Lake Crater. The third invitation is for all the members, some of them came forward to give their hearts in service to the Lord. Please do pray for these people who came forward for salvation that they will follow the Lord in water baptism, that Bro. Bunthon, newly baptized will grow spiritually and all the members of BBM-Rattanakiri will not forget their commitment to faithfully serve the Lord in their lives. The attendance was great last Sunday about 101 people came excluding the visitors from
Thank you so much for all your prayers, support and your labor of love both to us and the ministry here in Rattanakiri.
"God is a God of Missions. He wills missions. He commands missions. He demands missions. He made missions possible through His Son. He made missions actual in sending the Holy Spirit."
God Bless.
